Get to know me and
why I started Freije Brands.
My motivation for launching Freije Brands came from seeing so many of my friends drop out of the workforce due to inflexible working arrangements.
Great work can be created at anytime anywhere, so I built a network of talented people who love communications. Freije Brands enables my creative colleagues to work in a flexible setting and provides my clients affordable access to professional communications services.
Before launching Freije Brands, I was a top salesperson and spokesperson for two national real estate brands, Pulte Group and Del Webb, while managing my own independent real estate rental venture.
When the housing bubble burst, I put my Butler University degree in public and corporate communications to use at Borshoff, Indianapolis’ top PR and advertising agency, managing clients like the 2010 NCAA Men’s Final Four, Indianapolis Power & Light Company and the Children's Museum of Indianapolis.
After gaining agency experience, I worked for media entities Emmis Communications and CBS Corporation. From feeding the hungry to providing life-saving health screenings, I helped clients use media to changes lives and improve our community.
Ready to lead an organization, I became the CEO of the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana. Under my leadership the nonprofit increased awareness and reached new audiences by featuring client success stories and partnering with celebrity spokespeople like IndyCar drivers Scott Dixon and the late Justin Wilson.
From these experiences, I confirmed how I want to treat others, and the best way to do that was create my own organization. That's why I started Freije Brands.
When I’m not working, I’m walking my Goldendoodle Louie, shopping at Whole Foods or listening to a business book on Audible.
